Manual checks are bank checks that bypass the payable module of OnSite. Manual checks are usually used for paying vendors, or other people for product, or services that are not related to a Purchase Order. 

 Debit Transactions are a feature in OnSite that allows users to record transactions made using a Debit Card from their banking institution. As you will see, these transactions are very similar to check writing.
