This error usually means there is something that is blocking the connection from this workstation to the server.  To fix this error:

1.Make sure the firewall is turned off
2. Make sure UAC (user account controls) are  set to their lowest level. This may require a restart
3. Make sure Bonjour is installed
4. Make sure Java 6 update 7 is installed
5. Make sure there is a network connection

6. Make sure there are not multiple "Local Area Connections"
