         Procedural Considerations

1.   Be clear with customers and also employees as to your policies and procedure sregarding receivables management;  terms, statements, emails, when are customers put on hold, etc.? All should be consistent from employee to employee, and customer to customer.
 
2.   It’s a good idea to get reports specifically for month end.
